The holidays were splendid as they are every year. Its always great to be with your family and celebrate Christ. what more could you ask for? We are very blessed and grateful for everyone who makes our holidays amazing every year!

Miss Mylee was very busy this Christmas season
1st was her Pre-school Christmas program on Dec.14th- she sang wonderfully and is the cutest!

And Santa came to visit...after multiple santa visits of asking for a barbie house, this one in particular was a little different, MYLEE ASKED FOR AN IPHONE!! what?! :) she is definatley 5 going on 15

Mylees 1st dance recital (b/c we were in Florida for her supposed to be 1st one) was on DEC. 17th! I have to brag about this little girl, she was the best one up there! she is definitely a little performer! she loved it!!

That same night was the Bringhurst Christmas party, Mylee was an angel in the nativity scene.

mylee was so excited to set out cookies for Mr Santa! grandma Kim let her decorate the cookies all by herself! they turned out great and mylee was definitely a good little girl this year! how do you explain a child's excitement?!! santa even got a hold of a leap pad at the last minute! they had been very difficult to get and were gone through the whole month of DEC!

4 weeks and blessing day

And now 5 years later on DECEMBER 3rd she turns 5! I am still in shock...I love her so much and she has been such a blessing to TJ and I as well to our families! We have learned so much from her beautiful spirit that Heavenly Father so graciously decided us to be her parents. This has been way harder then I thought..I dont want her to grow up, I want to protect her and keep her small and innocent. Mama will try her hardest..to keep the teary level down
MYLEE loves 2: play w/ friends & cousins, color, sing JB, go to Grandmas, dance, go to primary, help mama clean & cook, ski, swim, watch movies, and most of all she LOVES that she is now 5!
Daddy made her favorite breakfast for her birthday: waffles w/ peanut butter and syrup (definitely Tj taught her this liking)

Party at outer limits! Mylee was so happy all day long and could not wait for her party! she kept asking me, "mom am I really 5? or am I still 4?" haha I was like MYLEE YOU ARE 5!! YAY "oh ok so when do i get to go to big school like conner?" she is the cutest..

I love you big girl, cannot even believe that you are 5!!

The next day was my daddys BDay..dad and mylee always celebrate together!

We had a great thanksgiving and we are so thankful for all of the blessings in our lives!Holidays are always very busy for us, we have so much family to see! but we truly do love making the rounds and are extremly greatful for our full belly's all day long! Pre-turkey day was spent with the Helmandollar side for dinner at Cafe Rio, breakfast on turkey day with the Davis side, lunch with the Bringhursts, dinner with the Conlins, and dessert with the Thompsons in Burley...woooh what a day! TJ played in some family football turkey bowls (2) :) We also had a date all nighter and went shopping for black Friday! it was fun to spend some quality time with each other fighting the crowds 12-5:30am!

Friday we went to the lights parade..Mylee always loves the parades!

Was like a month ago, but better late then never! Mylee had a blast! it was full of candy, homemade doughnuts, cousins and FUN- by the way she was tinkerbell this year!

a couple of weeks ago we headed down to vegas for the weekend. Originally we were going to boat the whole time at lake mead...who knew it would be snowing the whole way down and in the mid 60s in vegas? so we decided to ditch dragging the boat down and had a splendid time going all over vegas! Luckily we didnt take the boat because we almost slid off the road...disaster avoided!

TJ had a Birthday and turned 23 on Sep 14th! We went to red monster,(aka lobster) thats just how mylee pronounces the restraunt..serious, and celebrated with the fam.

Sep 15th was our 5 Y E A R A N N I V E R S A R Y !!- i cannot beleive it...so weird! We have definatley learned and grown throughout these years! I dont know where I would be without my hubby and beautiful little girl! they are my life and i am so blessed and grateful for them! We celebrated with din din at sumisu, and tj surprised me with this delivered to me at work!! :) he is amazing..LOVE

TODAY I am chucking up the double deuces...:) am i really 22? it just seems like i was 16 and pregnant! haha TIme flies and i have learned a lot over the years! i am very blessed! We are headed to Island park for the weekend and going to have a delicious dinner in IF on the way up! CHEERS-

Last weekend we headed to Indian SPrings for the Bringhurst Family Reunion! It is always great to get together and see everyone! Mylee had a blast swimming as usual! i dont even have to put sunscreen on her anymore!! HER skin is beautiful she is so TAN and her hair is lighting up around her face...so CUte!She also learned in 1 day how to ride her bike without training wheels!! SHE just cruises everywhere! Such a little smarty pants!

Tanner graduated on June 2nd from HHS! Way to go lil bro! we LOve YOU!

We celebrated by a family vacation to Florida! June 4th-11th! I cant beleive its already been a week since we have been home! We had so much fun and made some great memories!!

Airplane And Airport! Mylee loved flying and was so good the whole time!

First day we headed to Daytona Beach

It was relaxing and beautiful

2nd day we went to Islands of Adventure!

Lines werent too bad...but with the three munchkins it got stressful sometimes! We are all proud members of the child swap program at every park we went to though! :) Stand in line with everyone, 1st half rides while other half watches kiddies then you swap! kinda cool! worked out good for us!

3rd day Tj, DAddy, TANner, and myself went to Busch Gardens! Not everyone wanted to go so we went and had a blast! Rode The tallest roller coaster in Florida, and the longest roller coaster in FLorida! WE loved this parK! Mylee had a swim day with everyone else at the condO! of course she had FUN!

4TH day= DISNEY WORLD (very busy,long lines, and HOT HOT HOT)Mylee had a blast of course and she went on every ride she could! SPlash mountain, THunder mountain! she was a dare devil...we even bought her new tennies to make her taller! she would get sad if she couldnt go on a ride! Brave GIrlie!

5th day we went to Clearwater BeacH!

6th day we went to Wet N Wild- they had the COolest little kid park! We couldnt get Mylee off the water slides!!

We had such a fun trip and are not happy to be home!! It went by so fast! Florida is awesome...LOVE IT! While we were gone Mylee missed her first dance recital! :( she was bummed but there will be many more to come!

I am just a little bit behind on my blog- Easter was fabulous as all the holidays in our household are! We have so much family to go see that it gets kind of overwhelming! But we are very grateful for all of our families to live in the same city! Mylee is a very spoiled and she was so excited for the Easter Bunny to come! I dont know if many of you know this but...we are Laker fans!! Ever since we got married TJ has basically watched every single game...obsessed! TJ has also converted his family into Laker fans as well...Me and my mother in law are in love with SHANNON BROWN! So we are making it a tradition starting this year to go to the Jazz Laker game every year!! WE HAD A BLAST, we made signs, wore PURP & YELLOW, and yelled our hearts out! by the way Jazz fans are a little crazy... :)

I would like to dedicate the next few pics to Shannon...he waved at us & I GOT HIS AUTOGRAPH!! woo hooo! i had to push my way to get his beloved autograph..i am so proud of myself!! Successful trip!

A couple of weeks ago we were watching a game and they said "and Kobe calls a timeout." Mylee says, Daddy why is Kobe in timeout? we both started cracking up...she is the cutest and loves KOBE!

We went to Hogle Zoo the next day...it was cool to see a REAL zoo!

Mylee Jo is an official ski bunny! she does so good! ALL BY HERSELF the whole aspen run! She loves it...She loves to go through the trees and off the jumps!! so fun!

LAS VEGAS!! TJ and I went to Vegas with some friends March 9-13th...it was a blast! We didnt have tickets to the BYU games down there but we tried to go scalp some and they were sold out and the scalpers had signs that said WE NEED TICKETS! it was classic...no tickets could be found, BUMMER!

Mylee did the Highland Cheer Clinic and did so good! she is just a natural! and she is sooo beautiful! She keeps asking me when she can do cheer leading again...she loves IT!

We went to Sun Valley the last weekend of January to watch my lil bro shred the moguls in one of his competitions! He is awesome!

We had a splendid Christmas this year and we were all very blessed! I love this time of year to hang out with the family and share remembrance of our savior and his birth! Christmas always gives you a special feeling and a special spirit in your home! As always we are very busy Christmas day waking up early and headed to all of our families homes! Sometimes we feel overwhelmed with all the stops we have to make, but I am very grateful for all the family we have to share this special day and that they all live in the same town so we dont have to travel!

Mylee Jo turned 4 years old on December 3!! She is growing up way too fast! We had her party at Mcdonalds....again! It is her favorite place and the easiest I might add! Mylee is very independent, she loves to color, she can write her name, she loves to play any app on a phone she can get her hands on, she is very smart, she loves primary, she loves to say family prayer, she loves dance, she loves to ski, she loves to play candy land, she loves to play with her cousins, she is so innocent and loves everything about life! We are very proud of our little 4 year old and love her so much!

Was FREEEEZING!! we enjoyed the holiday in Island Park and it did not get above 10 degrees! Thursday night was -25!! Roads were terrible the way up! took us 4 hours! normal time is 2! Oh well...we had a splendid time! I am very blessed and that I am thankful for!

We went up to Bear like twice with Tjs Families...the last two weekends in August! Lets just say we have been loving every weekend being out of town and didnt want it to stop! I can not remember the last weekend we were home this summer...LOVE IT!

Oh and stop by the BERRY BOWL if you are ever up there...went there 3 times and still craving...seriously skip the raspberry shakes and get the frozen yogurt with amazing toppings!!! YUM

Basically I have been swamped. I am really hating school right now...this is like my hardest semester! It sucks! I never see my family, which is the worst! I keep telling myself 5 more weeks....but then I just think wait I have like 2 more years! BOO ON School! I can complain every once in a while right?!

Well Mylee Jo is growing like a weed! She is so smart, loves to dance, watch movies, play, and ride her bike! She has so much energy and is such a fun loving sweet little spirit! I love her! She also says many cute things a day which make me and TJ turn our head and say DID she JUST say THAT?! What a little character....

Brandon, our step brother, Graduated from POKY! WOO HOO! GO B! I dont have any pics..but he is quite handsome!!

TJ has quite the obsesssion for sports, well I should say Kobe Bryant and the Lakers! I am pretty sure he loves them more than me...haha JK! but you get the idea...MAJOR FAN! He sports a BLACK MAMBA (Kobe's nick name) shirt everytime they play...which reminds me, I need to get a pic of him wearing it! HIlarious! I Love him! He was able to go to one of their playoff games against the jazz with some work buddies! I was really happy for him! He was way excited!

I took mylee up to Pebble for a day of skiing! she did very well for her first time! her favorite part was the chair lifts!

We went to chrome in the dome a couple of weeks ago in support of my cousins car! her is a pic of mylee with her Favorite!

For spring break we went down to Squaw Valley with my family for Tanner's Competition. It was beautiful and a great little vacation...besides the 9 hour drive! it was so long, but mylee did awesome.

It was really fun to get the 2 girls together and take these cute pics! Mylee is getting so big! and Peyton is the cutest thing ever and I love being her aunt! I cant believe it is March..and midterms are OVER! We are staying busy and trying to keep up with our little troublemaker!

we love snow!! Wasn't the blizzard so beautiful! I wake up every morning and look out my window...and yesterday I was so excited to see a BLIZZARD! It was awesome..too bad they don't come around but once a month :(
We went snowmobiling and sledding with Tj's family Saturday and it was such a beautiful day! It was a lot of fun but I think I better stick to the downhill skiing...I just happened to tip it over twice..well one of the times I was a passenger...

New Year. New Home. New Semester.

Well 2010...just creeped right up didn't it?! It has been far too long since my last post...so lets break it down.
-2nd week of December were my finals...I am pretty sure I was the most stressed out I have ever been in my life! Trying to study and finish our house..I went crazy! But I am extremely proud to say that I finished my first semester in the practical nursing program with 4 A's and 2 B's!! I said about a thousand prayers through that week and I know I couldn't have done so well without my Heavenly Father!
-OUR HOME IS FINISHED!! we moved in on December 23! talk about the best Christmas present ever! Mylee was so fun this year..and Santa spoiled her a little too much! She is such a good little girl and over the break I finally had some time to work with her and get her potty trained!! YAY! It took 1 day...I feel like a bad mom because she was so ready to get potty trained but we were just too busy and living at my parents! I am just glad that is done!

Christmas was amazing this year and it makes me realize how much I am blessed! It truly hit home how much our savior has done for us and the sacrifices he made for us! I was listening to Christmas music while driving one day and just started crying because it was so beautiful and meaningful! I love every thing about this holiday and love to celebrate such a glorious event!

Over our holiday break we took a little ski trip to Island Park and Big sky! It was fun to spend it with our families and have our last getaway before school starts!

We had a very enjoyable break and we are not ready for school to start...but time tells another story! Mylee JO turned 3 years old on Thursday, December 3rd!! I truly cannot believe it! She was so excited for her birthday party...at where else but McDonalds! She was spoiled by all her grandparents and friends and had a really fun time! The days of planning was so fun with her because she loved to pick out everything, she thought it was so cooL! SHe loves DOra, lipstick, max & RUby, anything girly, and tutus for DancINg! She is so fun and we love her so much! and Her little personality is definately sassy!
She looked so cute in her little chucks and was so excited for her new chair for her room!

-House still is not done:( Hopefully in a couple weeks we will be moving in!

-Mylee does whatever 3 year olds do...talk about santa everyday and point at every commercial saying I want that for christmas!
-We havent even started christmas shopping due to lack of funds and no spare time!
-Thanksgiving was a blast..and a good little break..making the rounds to all the families!
-Louis' birthday was yesterday the 4th! HAPPY BIRTHDAY DAD!

Halloween was really fun this year! Mylee really enjoys every part about this holiday! Friday night, Mylee went with Grandpa Todd and Grandma Ellen to their ward party, she played all of the games with the kids, and won prettiest costume award and was rewarded with a pumpkin! She was so excited to tell us all about it!

On Saturday me and my sis took the girls to see Grandpa Ron and Grandma Jackie out in Inkom, Look at these stinkin CUTIES!

We had a really enjoyable time and were really thankful to spend it with our families! Mylee is growing up so fast, and she is so much fun! She truly lights up our lives everyday! We are soooo thankful to have such a sweet spirit in our home! She is a true blessing and is getting extremely smart! She now counts from 1 to 10...thanks to DORA!:)
anyway...later that night we stopped at walmart to grab a few things, mylee was definatley on a sugar high...OUT OF CONTROL! Long story short I grabbed her by the arm (not any different than i usually do) and must have used more strength...but she cried for about and hour and did not move it at all! I felt so bad...I was balling! So we finally took her up to ER and she just had nurses maid elbow! The cartilage in the elbow is not very strong in little kids and sometimes the radius bone will slip out of the socket half way, not all the way! The doctor said it is a really common thing, so he took her arm and slid it back in to place, and she SCREAMED and CRIED for about a minute and then she was using her arm again! It was truly amazing! Mylee even said "YAY! my owie is gone!" We had to laugh, cutest thing ever! I was so relieved it wasn't anything more serious!
Mylee got some juice for being a good girl!

Lesson learned for me, don't use there weak little arms to pick them up anymore! What an exciting and stressful holiday!

Our house is coming along! I will have to post pictures! I am staying way busy with school! I really enjoy it! Tj is working really hard all day, then working really hard on our house at nights! Sometimes we are lucky to all be together through the week!

Well I started the practical nursing program all day everyday and have 2 boxes of books to haul around! no joke. I really am enjoying it so far! so wish me lucK! Tj is working hard all day and on our house at nights! I love him so much and am very grateful for how hard he works for me! Mylee is refusing to go potty on the toilet..hates it...so any suggestions!? other than that she is just being a little wild girl who tries to mother her cousin!

Over labor day we went to Red Fish LAke! beeutiful...but waaay to far away! It was fun to get away for the last time before school got to intense! Thanks mom and dad! This is in Twin Falls at a waterfall...pretty cool i guess

Is it really July 23, 2009? WOW! do I really start school in 1 month! WOW! I can not EVEN believe how time flies...! So Whats going on in the Thompson home? Well we are moving in to my parents home at the end of the month to save a little extra for our new house! It should be interesting...but we are grateful! Our new house is currently being framed! We are excited and a lot of changes will be happening in the next few weeks! My brothers and Tj put together a RUCKUS CREW to go to parades! They were in the 4th of July parade in Inkom...they got about 15 friends to join! they had a lot fun!
They all really have fun on these scooters! Mylee loves to ride with daddy every chance she gets!

After the parade we have a BBQ at my grandparents and set up a slip N slide! It was fun..the 4th is one of my favorite holidays because its the only one in the summer! and you get to eat hot dogs and hamburgers all day long...!

Yep....today is my birthday! WOOO HOOO! I am thankful to have spent it with my family! I love them so much...and thank them for everything! I cant believe i am 20 and have a 2 1/2 year old! but I would not have it any other way! I am so grateful for the experiences I have been through and I would not be the person I am today without them and without my family!

Shantell and I enjoyed a nice pedicure from ISU. Mylee decided she would like her nails painted as well! She loves to do things with the girls!

I got my hair done and had foils everywhere, Mylee kept saying "Mommy you look funny!" so Aunt Heidi put some in Mylee's hair too...dont worry just cholesterol, no color...yet! Mylee loves being a girl..doesnt she look like she is having so much fun?

Tj's little bro, Jared, graduated from Highland a week ago! We are so proud of him, and wish him the best of luck in the "REAL" world! GO JARED WOO HOO! and congrats to all the other graduates out there! and my 2 cousins,Tysen and Taylor!

So Mylee has had some issues, I guess you can call it, with her cute little baby teeth! Her first tooth did not even erupt until she was 18 months old! I guess its not a bad thing, but extremly slow! She has 3 of her canines in, and I noticed this last week that where her 4th canine comes in...there was 2 teeth coming up! Yep, she has an extra lower incisor! Grandpa and Aunt Shantell approved what I thought I was seeing..Kinda funny! Here are some pics from her most recent cleaning that Auntie did for her! she loves IT!

Thompson Update

We are all staying busy busy...I am taking a summer class for my program and working, Tj is working hard full time, and working on our home! Mylee keeps us grounded and she is such a special little spirit in our home! Tj and I crack up every night at the things she is starting to say!She talks non stop now! Tj's work boots were sitting on the rug with dirt everywhere and mylee wakes up the next morning and says "WHAT A MESS!" she hurries to grab some of her wipes and starts to wipe up the dirt! haha so cute..

YES!! Done with finals week!! relief....

I took MJ to the teddy bear clinic last Saturday while TJ had to work! It was a fun little morning! Mylee chose to wear a future nurse hat..just like mommy! And we got her little sick bear all fixed up!

Well we have made our biggest purchase yet! We have worked really hard for this and soon we will have a little home here! We are so excited and very thankful we are able to do it!

The last couple of weeks have been kinda crazy...so here is an update! 2 weeks ago I received my acceptance letter into the Practical Nursing Program! I am so excited and so relieved when i got the letter, but I have a whole new stress now! It will be so good, and I start in August! I am excited to get on and a step closer to my career goal,a RN! I love learning and it will be a challenge...but a GREAT ONE!

Finally some nice weather! Tj got his ruckus out and Mylee had to take a ride! They do not look to excited though! haha

My family went to Mexico for 5 days over spring break! it was really relaxing, beautiful, and fun! We did some bargain shopping, tried to figure out the pesos to the dollar..(everywhere was different 15,12,10) so confusing, and best of all went to the beach!We miss the 90 degree temperatures! Everyone really enjoyed themselves and we were thankful to have a safe trip. HEre are some photos!
